As two organizations dedicated to children’s welfare and protection, representatives from Children’s Joy Foundation Japan and SOS Japan signed a memorandum of agreement last May 2017 to formally establish their partnership.

SOS Japan operates residential care facilities for orphaned and abandoned children in the country. In the agreement, CJF Japan will be providing funds to help SOS in the implementation of its programs and services.

CJF Japan is a registered nonprofit organization in Japan which aims to support programs and initiatives for the abandoned, orphaned, or marginalized children in Asia particularly in the Philippines by establishing partnerships with like-minded groups.

Through these partnerships, CJF Japan will be able to reach more children in different countries in Asia.

In the Philippines, CJF Japan also has a long-standing partnership with Children’s Joy Foundation, Philippines — supporting thousands of Filipino children beneficiaries in their daily physiological, educational, psychological and holistic needs as individuals.
